LRS not necessary for registration, KCR’s U-turn

Hyderabad: Telanagana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao takes yet another U-turn. this time on LRS scheme. Today he said  that plots without LRS can be considered for registration. However, he said that new plots and layouts should get an approval from government and until then registrations for such plots will be on hold.

KCR opts for a compromise with Modi

VH prefers Pawan Kalyan as TPCC Chief

Hyderabad: Congress senior BC leader V. Hanumantha Rao (called VH by his colleagues)  suggested a name to bring congress party alive in Telangana other than the name of Revanth Reddy. He said if Jana Sena chief Pawan kalyan joins congress, he would suggest his name for PCC chief to the party’s national leaders.


Farmers’ protest: Govt.- Morcha talks on Monday

New Delhi: Farmers’ Union responded positively to the letter addressed by Vivek Aggarwal inviting them for talks. The talks are scheduled to be held at 11 am on Monday, the 29th. Vivek, who is joint secretary in the Union Ministry of Agriculture, wrote a letter on 24th December urging the farmers to stop the protest and come for talks with Centre to find a solution. Samyuktha Kisan Morcha, responded positively to the letter but they said they were upset as government is hiding the truth and facts and misrepresenting their demands.


CM KCR: No Agriculture purchase centres by Government from next year

Hyderabad: It looks as though Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao changed his tune in favour of new farm laws recently brought by centre. In a meeting held on Sunday, KCR said that government will not set up purchase centres in villages from next year to buy agricultural produce from farmers. It is only for the current year government came up with purchase centres due to Covid pandemic and no loss is seen for farmers or their produce.

Farmers Protest: Senior Congress leaders detained from meeting President

New Delhi: Delhi is witnessing lakhs of farmers protesting for the past 29 days with a demand to repeal the three new farm laws. In support to them, top senior congress delegates gave a call to march towards Rashtrapati Bhavan to submit a memorandum against farm laws which was signed by nearly 2 crore farmers across country. They were stopped by Delhi police and were detained before meeting Ramnath Kovind. Priyanka Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, K.C.Venugopal,Randeep Singh Surjeewala were in the list who were stopped by police.
