JC Brothers on Hunger Strike, Tadipatri Tense

Anantapur district is getting hot with political battles between YCP and TDP faction groups. JC brothers who are in TDP claim that their business were targeted after Jagan became CM. Adding to this, they made a statement that they will sit on for hunger strike from Jan 4th against the vendetta politics of YCP. Police officials promulgated 144 section and 30 Act denying permission to JC brother’s hunger strike. But the brothers decided to go ahead with their hunger strike which is leading to tense situation in Ananthpur district. Main reason for the hunger strike by JC brothers is that YCP is misusing the Act of SC, ST’s atrocity case which were slapped against them with a false allegatins.

Cash for vote case: Accused spills the beans implicating CBN

Hyderabad: Jerusalem Mathaiah, one of the accused in ‘Cash for Note’ case, has revealed in the presence of the officials of the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday that former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, had offered Rs.3 crore to Stephenson, TRS MLA, to vote for TDP candidate Vem Narendra Reddy in MLC elections held in 2015. Mathaiah told the ED that Chandrababu Naidu told him that he would pay Rs. 50 lakh as advance and the rest of the amount later. The then chief minister of Andhra Pradesh wanted Mathaiah to meet Stephenson to convince him to agree for the deal. He did so but Stephenson said he wanted to meet Revanth Reddy directly. It is a different matter that both Revanth Reddy and Vem Narender Reddy left the TDP and joined the Congress party later.


5 TMC MPs ask President to sack WB Governor

Kolkata: Five Trinamool Congress MPs have on Wednesday urged President Ram Nath Kovid to recall Governor of West Bengal Jagdeep Dhankhar for the political bias the latter has been blatantly indulging in. The MPs alleged that the Governor “has engineered to destabilise the State government machinery as a whole.” The MPs have asked for the removal of the Governor.

However, he has issued a statement on Tuesday to declare that he is not going to join politics, after all. “With extreme sadness I say that I can’t enter politics.
