Chandrababu Naidu may have to face the scrutiny of alleged corruption during his Chief Ministership. Andhra Pradesh's nominated Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to order a probe on this. On the promise of a corruption-free government in the state, Jagan Mohan Reddy said on Sunday that he will start investigating the alleged irregularities in the construction of Amravati, the new state capital, Polavaram project and other plans launched by former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will take oath as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on May 30 in Vijayawada. He said that white paper will be issued in this regard after reviewing the works of each department in the state. He had come here to discuss the issue of special category status to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah.

 Within 50 days of taking oath as the Chief Minister, I will formulate the plan of the action.' When asked if his government examined the alleged irregularities in the construction of the new capital of the state and other schemes introduced by the previous government On this, Reddy said, 'We will have to investigate these scandals. These are not some of the common scandals, it will be a sensational scandal. He accused Naidu of misusing people in the name of the new capital and buying land for himself at a very low rate.
