YSR Congress Party Legislative Party leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the AP Bhawan in Delhi said in a press conference that economic problems have emerged in the state. Before the tenure of Chandrababu Naidu, the state had a debt burden of 97 thousand crore rupees. After Chandrababu's tenure, this amount has increased to Rs. 2 lakh 57 thousand crore rupees.

On the issue of special status to Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that if the BJP goes down to 250 seats then it is possible that they have conditional support with the demand of special status. However, the ruling BJP does not need support to form the government. Despite that, they will continue to struggle for Andhra Pradesh on the issue of special status.

He said that the state needs overdraft to emerge from the economic situation. For this, the cooperation of the Center is also necessary. In the next 5 years, emphasis will be on improving the economic condition of the state. Center will be taken to strengthen the situation of the state.  

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the YSR Congress Party is committed to getting special state status to Andhra Pradesh. The party is taking effective steps in this direction. For this, the Center and other states will also have cooperated. The Chief Minister of Telangana, K.C.R has given his assurance of supporting him on this issue.
