The leader of Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu promised 600 assurances to the people in the previous elections but did not fulfil a single assurance. Farmers are facing a lot of problems, despite the Godavari river flowing in the area, water is not available for irrigation of crops. Apart from this, the farmers are facing financial problems due to the non-availability of minimum prices. Many farmers have committed suicide because of their inability to pay off the debt.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that in the past, he had visited areas in the course of 'Praja Sankalp Yatra'. They got information about various problems emerging in the area. The main problem of the area is the dumping yard in the middle of the city. People are facing difficulties due to the bad odour from the yard. The dumping yard was right here at the time of 'Praja Sankalp Yatra' and it is still there today. No effort has been made to remove it. The government is negligent about the health of people.
He further pointed about that the 'yellow media'.Yellow media is working according to Mr Chandrababu's gesture. There have been recent incidents which have led to false propaganda in the yellow media rather than giving information about the truth.
