The death of YS Vivekananda Reddy, younger brother of former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Late YS Rajasekhara Reddy and uncle of YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has turned suspicious now as he was found dead in a pool of blood at his residence Pulivendula in Kadapa. Forensic reports have confirmed that YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader YS Vivekananda Reddy was murdered. Preliminary conclusions of the post-mortem stated that YSRCP leader YS Vivekananda Reddy has been murdered. The coroner's report says that there were seven stab wounds on his body made by a sharp object.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the murder of his uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy is a brutal political murder. He said that it is very unfortunate that a former MP of a political party with a political experience of nearly 35 years was killed mercilessly with axes.
He said that YS Vivekananda Reddy was assassinated by using axes in the bedroom and later the body was placed in the bathroom so that it could mislead the people. He said that whenever the members of the YSR family were attacked, the state's Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu remained silent.
On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has announced that a Special Investigation Team would probe the death of Y S Vivekananda Reddy in suspicious circumstances.
