- says only Swastik mark is vote, not ink mark
Hyderabad: Telangana High Court order on Friday morning that the order passed in the midnight of Thursday-Friday by the State Election Commissioner would not be valid, thus shocking the ruling establishment. The HC made it clear that only the Swastik marks should be counted as votes and not the ink marks as ordered by the SEC. The court has considered the complaint lodged by the BJP leaders favorably. The HC has directed the Election Commission to pass on the revised order to consider only the Swastik mark as votes to all the counting centres. The hearing was adjourned to Monday and the HC asked the EC to file a detailed counter by then.
