The Andhra Pradesh (AP) government, in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs, will conduct a conference to attract investments into the state on 9 August at Vijayawada.

The event will be attended by high-level representatives from various countries, ambassadors, diplomats and consulate generals from at least 30 to 40 countries.

The summit will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will meet with the ambassadors and consulate generals of the respective countries. In the second phase, he would hold individual meetings with the representatives of different countries," said the release.

According to official sources, YS Jagan is also likely to launch the first ‘Made in India’ car of Kia Motors’. The South Korean-based Kia Motors company is preparing to launch its new car on August 8th into the market at Penukonda in Anantapur district and has invited the chief minister for the inauguration.
