Senior BJP leader JP Nadda has been made the executive president of the party. The decision was taken in the BJP Parliamentary Board meeting on Monday in Delhi. Describing the meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Board, Defense Minister and senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh said that Amit Shah had successfully fulfilled the responsibility of the party president for five years, now Amit Shah is the Home Minister, so he urged anyone else to be given the responsibility of the President.

BJP won several elections under the leadership of Amit Shah Ji. But since PM appointed him Home Minister, Amit Shah Ji himself said the responsibility of party president should be given to someone else. So, the party Parliamentary Board decided that JP Nadda will be the Executive Chairman of BJP. For now, Mr Shah remains the party chief, but the workload will be shared with Mr Nadda.

JP Nadda was made Health Minister during the first term of the Modi Government.
