Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today assured that there will be a separate ministry for water-related issues if his government comes to power again.
Addressing a public rally in Sonbhadra district which is already facing water and power scarcity, Mr Modi said that though the district produces power for the whole country, native villages are in dark due to misrule by previous SP BSP governments.
Mr Modi said due to the efforts of the central government, Poorvanchal was brought into the development map for the first time with the launch of many developments works in the area.
