Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi today attended a roadshow in the Mahoba region of UP. She has questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's non-political interview with actor Akshay Kumar. Priyanka said that the PM should have talked to the farmers rather than the interview with the actor. She called the prime minister ‘pradhan prachar mantri’ (chief publicity minister).

Priyanka Gandhi targeted PM Modi at her rally in Mahoba. She said that 'Yesterday you would have seen him interviewed by big actors but you would never have seen him among the public. I went to Varanasi, I came to know that the Prime Minister did not go to any village in these five years. This government has snatched away the employment opportunities from our youth and has shut down the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act scheme. The PM should talk to the farmers, not the actor.'
