Actor-politician Rajinikanth said on Friday that his party will definitely contest next Tamilnadu assembly elections. In his interaction with the reporters, Rajinikanth said that his party is not contesting the Lok Sabha elections, but will not disappoint his fans in the assembly elections.

He said that about 72 per cent of the voting in Tamil Nadu is very good in the Lok Sabha elections. Rajinikanth had earlier announced that whenever the state assembly elections are held, his party will contest the all the 234 assembly seats in the state.

He said at his residence in Chennai that his party was fully prepared to face the assembly elections. Asked whether Modi will again become the Chief Minister, Rajinikanth said that it will be found on May 23

 Tamil Nadu voted for 18 assembly seats along with 38 Lok Sabha seats in the second phase of the national elections on Thursday. The assembly bypolls are crucial for the stability of the AIADMK government in the state.
