Election officials have sent a report to the Central Election Commission for repolling in five places in Andhra Pradesh. In the district of Nellore and Guntur, two places and one place in Prakasam district. The report was sent by local collectors to Chief Election Officer Gopalkrishna Dwivedi.

After investigating them, Dwivedi recommended to the Central Election Commission to arrange repolling in five places. According to the report of the district collectors, the five centers found in the EVM have been found detective and this information was sent to the Central Election Commission.

Polling places booth no. 94 inNarasaraopet assembly constituency, Polling booth no. 244 at Nallacheruvu in Guntur West constituency, Polling booth No. 41 in Iskapalli area, Polling booth No. 197 in Sankaruppet area of Sullurupeta, Poling booth No. 197 in Nellore assembly constituency and Polling located in Yerragondapalem of Prakasam district.  The Central Election Commission will take a final decision on this.

 Chief Electoral Officer has appealed for action against 12 officers who have been careless in the state elections. There is a possibility that action will be taken against some other people after getting the full report from the district collectors. The Election Commission has taken this decision on the 11th of this month in view of the demand for repolling due to the EVM in the general elections held throughout the state.
