All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president and MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday, in Kishanganj, Bihar termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as "Laila-Majnu".
Taking a dig at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Owaisi said that Bihar Chief Minister is in love with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the duo's pair looks like "Laila-Majnu".
Owaisi also targeted BJP President Amit Shah. He said that BJP President Amit Shah is openly threatening to expel the community from Assam in the name of implementing the National Citizen Registry.
He said that Congress is demanding votes by showing the fear of BJP, while under its rule there were atrocities like the riots of Bhagalpur and opening the premises of the Babri Masjid.
Owaisi said, "You should not repeat the same mistake again. There is nothing else with the hand (Congress election symbol) showing the fear of the BJP again and seeking votes from you. You should not forget that when the Bhagalpur riots and Babri Masjid were opened, this party was in power in Bihar and the Center. "
