With the Lok Sabha Elections coming up, people with influence on the public are trying their best to speak up and spread awareness about the importance of voting. Recently, on the request of PM Modi, several A-listed Bollywood stars took to their social media to convey the message. Filmmaker Pooja Bhatt and daughter of Mahesh Bhatt recently took to her official Twitter account by sharing a video clip of artists from actors to comedians all requesting people to vote. She called their message to be “wise and heartfelt”.

The clip began with music director and singer Vishal Dadlani talking addressing the ongoing political propaganda. He urged people to not be misled and to focus on issues that concern country’s education, healthcare, and welfare as he stressed that the growth of a country does not reside in blowing up a satellite or believing that we are in a state of war.

It was followed by comedian Rajeev Nigam who said how some issues are inflated like a balloon and brought in front of the people out of nowhere which aren’t really related to them for the purpose to distract them from underlying troubles that the country is going through.

Tanu Weds Manu and Raees actor Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub then told indirectly told how the people are being robbed of the nation that they were promised of while urging them to step out and vote as it will be f no use to sit at home and abuse the leaders.

Then, Paan Singh Tomar director Tigmanshu Dhulia said that Elections keep coming in every 5 years, but it shouldn’t be so that these elections are the last elections for the country and thus urged people to participate in the Democratic activity.

Lastly, actress Sayani Gupta urged people to step out and vote as it is our last chance.
