The Cyberabad Police registered a case against the actor and Rajmundry MP and Andhra Pradesh 's Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Murli Mohan. The police have registered this case in connection with two crore rupees recovered in HiTech City Railway Station on Wednesday night. The police have registered a case against five others besides Murali Mohan. Murali Mohan is still absconding.

Speaking about this incident, Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar said that along with Nimmaluri Srihari, Pandari police has booked cases on six members under IPS 171B, 171E, 171C, and 171F sections.

The police believe that the money belonged to Murali Mohan’s property firm Jayabheri. The police registered a case against Sri Hari, Pandari, Jagan, Dharma Raju, Y Murali Mohan and MP M Murali Mohan. Jagan and Dharma Raju are employees of Jayabheri. An Election Offence case was registered at Madhapur police station.
