Actor couple Jeevitha and Rajasekhar re-joined the YSR Congress Party on Monday.                                                                                                      Reportedly, they called on YSRCP president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy at his Lotus Pond residence and formally joined the party.

Rajasekhar claimed that he met Jaganmohan Reddy after a long time saying that all the bitterness between the two was over now while admitting that he had behaved immaturely.

He remarked that "today's Jagan is different from the earlier Jagan".

Jeevitha and Rajashekhar appealed to the voters of Andhra Pradesh to give a chance to Jaganmohan Reddy to serve them. They exuded confidence in the YSR Congress chief to become the CM assuring him of their support.

The couple had entered Congress back in 2008 when Reddy's father Y.S, Rajasekhara Reddy was the CM of the undivided Andhra Pradesh. After his untimely death in a helicopter crash in 2009, they supported Jaganmohan Reddy in the revolt against Congress leadership and even supported him when he floated YSR Congress but later distanced themselves. They alleged that Jagan was running the party like a fiefdom.

In 2014, the couple had joined BJP but were not rewarded with suitable positions.
