Lambasting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the issue of surgical strikes, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao Friday said such "strategic attacks" are never to be disclosed

Addressing an election rally in Nalgonda district he alleged Modi was spreading 'lies' against the TRS government for the sake of votes and political gains. He also mocked at Modi over his 'chowkidar' (watchman) slogan, saying Chaiwala has gone and Chowkidar has come.

When I was a Union minister, surgical strikes were done 11 times. They are strategic strikes which are not disclosed. Rao was Minister of Labor and Employment in Manmohan Singh's Cabinet from 2004 to 06. Rao then resigned on the issue of separate Telangana state.

He said that BJP and Congress told the people why they failed to use the available water resources and electricity in the country. Despite failing to rule the country for 70 years, why failed to resolve the real problems?

Reiterating his desire for quality change in national politics, KCR predicted that the next government will form regional parties at the Center. He said, "BJP-led NDA will not be able to cross the 150 seats and the Congress will not be able to win more than 100 seats. After the election results come on May 23, regional parties will rule this country.
