Congress candidate from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency, Revanth Reddy has once again proposed to make Hyderabad the second capital of the country. Revanth Reddy assured that if he wins, he will bring a private bill in the House for this demand.
Addressing the crowd, Revanth Reddy spoke about the first constitutional body Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar had proposed the need to make South India as the second capital in the country.
The need for the second capital is being felt in India. Revanth Reddy is currently in the public relations campaign in the area. Revanth Reddy expressed hope that Congress party will form government at the centre. In such a situation, the people of Malkajgiri will be working to fulfil the long-running railway over the bridge and other demands.
Revanth Reddy said that if he wins in the election the metropolis and especially the people of Malkajjiri will get bigger returns.
Revanth Reddy claimed that people of 29 states in their constituency would sit there. Also, people from different parts of Andhra Pradesh can live comfortably in Telangana.
According to Revanth Reddy, in the last assembly elections, people voted for Telangana Rashtra Samithi by keeping local issues in mind. In the Lok Sabha elections, people will vote for the Congress party in view of national interest.
