In view of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, BSP supremo Mayawati has tied up with the Janasena Party in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Janasena party chief Pawan Kalyan has met Mayawati and after the talks, the matter was finalized for both the parties regarding the seats. Addressing the media, Chief Pawan Kalyan has stated that “We would like to see Behen ji Mayawati Ji as the Prime Minister of our country, this is our wish and our ardent desire,” 

 Election poll dates for both  Andhra Pradesh (25 Lok Sabha seats)and Telangana(17 Lok Sabha seat) are on April 11, both on the same day and in one phase.

  Earlier, in Uttar Pradesh, the BSP has aligned with the SP. Both the parties are going to fight the elections together. BSP supremo Mayawati held a meeting with party's Lok Sabha In- Charges and Zonal Coordinators at party headquarters and instructed them to prepare for campaigning in accordance with the Samajwadi Party (SP) workers. In this meeting, the names of candidates of Lok Sabha elections were also discussed, although no announcement has been made. Also, In the meeting, the workers were also instructed to strictly adhere to the election code of conduct.
