Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday urged the Congress and Jananayak Janata Party (JJP) to coalesce and work together to defeat the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections in Haryana. This will help in removing Modi and Shah from power at the Centre.
Kejriwal tweeted on Wednesday, "People of the country want to beat Amit Shah and Modi ji. If JJP, AAP and Congress fight in Haryana, the BJP will lose on 10 seats in Haryana. Rahul Gandhi ji consider this. " You do not have a strong base in Haryana and the BJP party is trying to enter the state.
Dushyant Chautala, on 9th December 2018, after being expelled from Indian National Lok Dal launched a new party Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). JJP had done a good job in the by-elections of Jind Assembly constituency. In the by-elections, AAP supported the JJP candidate; and both parties have been in talks to ally for the Assembly elections scheduled later this year.
The BJP has won seven seats in the Lok Sabha elections held in 2014. INLD had two and Congress has one seat.
