Regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the allocation of seats in Bihar's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has quickened up. In the meeting of the RJD Parliamentary Board here on Saturday, party president Lalu Prasad Yadav has taken up the responsibility for the selection of seats.

Divulging the details of the meeting, RJD State President Ramchandra Purve informed that around four proposals have been passed.

He said that with the meeting with the RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav has decided that for selection of candidates for Lok Sabha elections and also with the coordination of same ideologue parties and for seat sharing a resolution has been passed to support the leaders to make alliance candidates of all the 40 seats of Bihar in the Legislative Assembly.

He even informed that RJD has also passed a resolution not to celebrate Holi this year due to the Pulwama terror attack.

This meeting was attended by several prominent leaders including former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, Misa Bharti. However, RJD leader and former Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav did not attend this meeting.

It is to be noted that after being convicted in many cases relating to fodder scam, RJD President Lalu Prasad is currently serving sentence in Ranchi. As of now, he is being treated at a hospital in Ranchi after being released.
