Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.K. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday accused the central government of betraying the state in the last budget. Responding to the interim budget presented in Parliament on Friday, Naidu said that there is not a single mention of Andhra Pradesh.

Talking to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) workers during a teleconference, the TDP chief said that Prime Minister's Kisan Yojana will not benefit farmers.

Naidu said, "How can the situation of farmers change from 16 rupees per day? According to the TDP sources, Naidu said that there was nothing for the common man in the 2019-20 budget.  

He said that the income limit for reservation under the Economically Backward Classes (EBC) quota is eight lakh rupees, but the income tax limit is Rs 5 lakhs. He also claimed that there are many discrepancies and contradictions in the budget.
