A day before the Budget, Opposition got enough ammunition to fire at the government on the Jobs data. In a recent tweet Rahul Gandhi, the president of Indian National Congress attacked the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi over employment Generation in the country.

His tweet read:

“NoMo Jobs! The Fuhrer promised us 2 Cr jobs a year. 5 years later, his leaked job creation report card reveals a National Disaster. Unemployment is at its highest in 45 yrs. 6.5 Cr youth are jobless in 2017-18 alone. Time for NoMo2Go"

Gandhi also tagged a Business Standard story which cited a report that said the unemployment rate in the nation is highest in 45 years.

The report, according to Business Standard, said that the unemployment rate stood at 6.1%, the highest since 1972-73.

Hitting back at Rahul Gandhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party alleged that the Congress president has a myopic understanding of issues and said only someone who has never held a proper job “can peddle such fake news”.

BJP further added by tweeting that Gandhi had inherited short-sightedness of Mussolini, the Italian dictator.

With the upcoming elections of LokSabha, more such attacks are expected between parties.
