Rajya Sabha Member TG Venkatesh, recently declared that there are high chances of pre-poll alliance between the Telugu Desam Party and the Jana Sena for the ensuing elections. He dismissed rumours regarding Pawan Kalyan’s tiff with the TDP. In the past there was a difference between the two as it was Pawans opinion that the TDP could have done more to fight the decision regarding he special status category.
Chandrababu Naidu assumed that necessary financial assistance would have been offered gradually but that didn't happen. The TDP decided then decided to end its alliance with the BJP after coming to the obvious conclusion that injustice is being done to them following the extension of Special Status benefits to other states.
Stating that all that was left in the past, Venkatesh opined that both Naidu and Pawan coming together is a strong possibility if their opinions match.
He compared this alliance to the feud between Akhilesh Yadav’s SP and Mayawati’s BSP. They could have worked together to defeat the BJP, similarly the TDP and Jana Sena might have a tie up in Andhra. He also confirmed the leader’s positive reaction to the said alliance.
