Winning for the fourth time in Telangana from Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has made a big statement on BJP's victory. He said that the BJP redeemed the issue of Hindu and nationalism, the reason which reposed their victory.
Owaisi said that the people who have given this victory to the BJP will now ask the question, whose answers cannot be avoided. Speaking on the future of regional parties, he said that the future of the regional party is secure and he will do better.
Significantly, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi won the fourth time Lok Sabha seat in Telangana for the fourth consecutive time. Owaisi has been winning this seat since 2004. Owaisi defeated BJP's J. Bhagwant Rao by a margin of 2.82 lakh votes in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
In 2014, Owaisi won 5,13,868 votes and became the winner. He had defeated BJP candidate by a margin of 2,02,454 votes.
The Hyderabad seat has traditionally been the stronghold of AIMIM, which has strengthened its hold in the minority-dominated constituency since 1984. Before this seat, Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi, the former head of the party and Asaduddin's father, was elected six times in a row.
