BSP supremo Mayawati on Monday slammed the BJP candidate from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, who recently made a controversial statement. She questioned the Election Commission of India 'why did the Election Commission not cancel her nomination?'. She went on to say that 'NO ACTION, ONLY NOTICE’ over Pragya row.
Mayawati tweeted, "BJP candidate from Bhopal and Malegaon blast accused Sadhvi Pradnya claims that they are fighting 'Crusade'. This is the real face of BJP / RSS which is constantly exposed. But why is the commission issuing notices only and why is not the cancellation of the name of BJP's Ratna Pragya? "
She further tweeted "Mayawati said, "Despite the overwhelming criticism of the media if the Election Commission is not acting fairly according to the massacre ...." He said, "... then it is a matter of great concern for the country's democracy. And there is no one else responsible for this fall, but BJP and PM Shri Modi are surrounded by serious election charges."
