The Indian National Congress is led by the Gandhi Family i.e Sonia Gandhi and her son, Rahul Gandhi. Last week, Rahul Gandhi, the Congress President appointed his sister, Priyanka Gandhi as the General Secretary of INC for Uttar Pradesh East.
BJP President Amit Shah mocked this move of Congress and said that when 2 “G”andhis were a part of Congress, the nation witnessed a 2G scam. In the parliamentary rule of Congress headed by Manmohan Singh, the nation witnessed the 2G Scam of approximately 12 lakh crore. Now with the entry of the third Gandhi, one can hope for a bigger 3G Scam, Mr.Shah said.
He also added that dynasties like Congress cannot serve the country well. The dynasts say the country needs a majboor(powerless) government whereas the BJP says it needs a majboot (strong) government. According to Shah, only Narendra Modi and the BJP can provide a majboot government at the Centre. He further added that only BJP could provide a government headed by a leader while the opposition intends to throw up a government led by "dealers and brokers".
The General Elections will be held between April and May 2019 and with the entry of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, expect new twists in strategies from all parties especially in Uttar Pradesh, the state that decides which government will form.
